Photos in original quality
Prints and photo books need the file as it came out of the camera.
For display we create an optimised version of every image — quick to load and clean on a projector. For a photo book or a large print that is not enough: there, every pixel the camera captured counts.
So there is an option to keep the uploaded original files as well. It has to be active before anything is uploaded — what went up without it cannot be recovered afterwards. Expect several times the storage, because originals are far larger than the display version.

Common questions
How do I know whether originals are being kept?
From your stream's setting. With it switched off, only the display version exists.
Can I switch the option on later?
Yes — it then applies to everything uploaded from that point. Earlier uploads stay without an original.
